101 Belvedere Drive

Noteworthy: This property, just outside Park Hill, appears to belong to the same broad design family as 19 Morris Crescent, 225 Van Cortlandt Park Avenue, and 47 Rockland Avenue. Its front-facing composition is especially close to 19 Morris Crescent: a dominant shingled front gable, angled second-story bays, a full-width columned porch, and a stone porch base. Like 19 Morris Crescent and the Park Hill examples, its construction date appears to have been misrecorded when the city tax assessor's property cards were first compiled in the mid-twentieth century. In this case, the Yonkers tax assessor's property card shows a 1930 construction date crossed out and corrected to 1908.
